I find the story first.
Every script, every score, every page starts the same way for me — with the story, before anything else. Get that right, and the form takes care of itself.
I created and wrote ABC's Triage, executive produced Coach with Bill Belichick for ESPN+, and I'm adapting Stephen King's Insomnia with Rideback. I wrote, produced, and scored Unspeakable, which premiered at SXSW and won Best Pilot at multiple festivals. Through my production company, New Core Productions, I've made three indie features, including #Lucky Number with Tom Pelphrey and Method Man.
Ron Howard and Brian Grazer chose me for the first class of Imagine Impact, which inspired me to start a script development service for other writers. After years of private coaching and dozens of ten-week courses, I distilled what I teach into a book, Stop Writing! (releasing September 2026), and launched Every Story to help every artist get their story into the world.
